NOTE: An entrance pass is also required to visit Yosemite National Park. The Glacier Point pass provides access to visit Glacier Point during the designated timeslot after you enter the park.

Know Before You Go

All visitors are required to pay an entrance fee. If the entrance station is closed the pass must be shown in the visitor center.

Between October and March, the scenic drives may close without notice due to snow and ice. In the south unit the portion of road from the south boundary to the north boundary generally remains open year round.

Entrance fees are waived at National Park Service-managed sites on the following days in 2019:
  • January 21 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • April 20 – First Day of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day
  • August 25 – National Park Service Anniversary
  • September 28 – National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 – Veterans Day
